An ARC Peaks project produced by creative agency We Are Willow, in collaboration with Nomad, the Royal Northern College of Music and Piccadilly Records, Manchester.
"Surrender All That You've Known" is a collaborative composition by Chris Butler and Nomad ensemble, with accompanying art by renowned illustrators Guy McKinley and Darren Newman. The piece is a creative response to the envrionment of ARC Peaks, an idyllic hideaway in the rural landscape of Wildboarclough, Macclesfield Forest UK.
My role in the project involved the production, recordings and mix of the resultant composition. As part of the project, we recorded Nomad ensemble in a number of different spaces onsite at ARC Peaks, allowing the musicians to respond to the different atmospheres and acoustics of the amazing building. The project and process was documented by Pantling Studios.
"Surrender All That You've Known" was featured as a Piccadilly Records takeover window display in December 2025.
